BRIDGEPORT -- Ray Tackel, 73, a self-employed oil pumper, died Monday, March 21, 2005. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Survivors: Wife, Opal; daughter, Phyllis and husband, Van; stepsons, Lance and James; grandson, Mark; brother, Roy and wife, Betty; sisters, Lou Etta, Dean and husband, Vance, Audrey; sister-in-law, Faye; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and hunting buddies.
