Ralph Michael "Mike" Lane

Ralph Michael Lane, 69, passed from this earth in the early hours of Thursday, May 29th, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Celebration of Life is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at Brookside Center in Hurst, Texas.

Mike was born May 17th, 1956 in El Paso, Texas. He was married to Alacia LeDoux in Arlington, Texas on April 18th, 1981. Mike received his Associate’s Degree from Tarrant County Junior College. His childhood passion for flying grew into a life-long aviation career as a pilot. From flying checks overnight across the country in MU-2’s to accumulating thousands of hours flying Air Transport International DC-8’s and Amazon Prime 767’s. After retirement he continued his aviation career as an instructor with Flight Safety International. Mike was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose big heart, compassion, quick-wit, teasing, laughter and home-made fudge will be missed.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Coetta Lane.

He is survived by his wife, Alacia Lane, son Jacob Lane and John Griffin-Lane, Susan (Sister) & Roark Shallow, Bill Lane (Brother) & Brenda Berryhill, Brandon (Nephew) & Lindsey Lane, Susan & Bill Pack (Aunt & Uncle), Brian (Cousin) & Mary Pack, Audrey and Amelia Pack (Nieces), and a host of extended family and friends.
