Alvord ~ Phillip Clark Parson, 64, a machinist production, went to be with our Lord Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery. No visitation.
Rev. Bill Cleveland will officiate.
Phillip was born on September 17, 1950 to Karl and Naomi (Clark) Parson in Lampasas, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea and Vietnam during the Vietnam Era. Phillip was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Stephen Parson and Cameron Parson; his daughters, Jennifer Maxwell and Sharon Pflaster; his mother, Velma Parson; his sister, Pamela Al-Husaini; his brother, Karl Parson Jr; several grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
