Phil Scrogum

Phil Scrogum went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 14 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Phil was born in Bowie TX on Dec 22 1943 to Johnny Franklen and Mary Lula May Reynolds (Scrogum).
He was in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and served 2 tours in Vietnam. He retired from truck driving to ride his motorcycle around the Americas.

He was a father, grandfather and a friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Floyal (Burr) and Gary Scrogum.

His survivors are his sons Steven of Decatur TX and Christian Scrogum of Wolfe Creek OR; 2 grandchildren Nico and Antonio Scrogum; nephews Jon and Rusty Scrogum of Bowie; niece Kristin Rhone husband Chris of Leonard, Tx; great-nephews, Tyler and Matthew of Bowie and Zachery and Mason Rhone of Leonard; and great-niece Alexa Rhone of Leonard; his sister- in- law Kathy Scrogum, and extended family and friends.
