Perry Burch Reid

Perry Burch Reid passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose strength and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Perry shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debbie Reid. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering support for one another.

Perry was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Reid, brother-in-law Brad Ballew, and brother JW Reid.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Reid and their son, Coby Reid and wife Michelle along with their children, Elijah, Victoria, and Jackson. He will also be remembered by his granddaughter, Ily Brown. Perry is further survived by his sister-in-law, Gay Ballew-Whitsell and her children, Challene Kee, Heather and Clint Whitsell , as well as his nieces, Stephenie Sager and husband Chris and Amanda Callahan and husband Chris and many great-nieces and nephews.

Perry will be remembered for his steady presence, his deep love for his family, and the many memories he created with those closest to him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A service to celebrate Perry’s life will be held Thursday, April 23rd, with visitation at 1 PM with service at 2 PM at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd, TX.
