Peggy O'Neal

Newark ~ Peggy O’Neal, 84, went to be with our Lord Monday, March 28, 2022 in Fort Worth.

Graveside Service is 3PM Saturday at Thurmond-Fairview Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. James Mason will officiate.

Peggy was born on November 5, 1937 to Theodore Roosevelt and Julia (Kirkman) O’Neal in Waco. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Smith; her daughter, Patty Smith; and 2 granddaughters, Christine Bailey and Hailey Renfro.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are 2 daughters, Margaret Doggett of Fort Worth and Joanna Soliz of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
