Peggy Lavern Clemons Boudreaux got her angel wings December 31, 2022. She was born May 14, 1947, the first child born to Hubert Russell Clemons and Dorothy Kyser Clemons (von Bose).
Peggy graduated from Vidor High School in Vidor, Texas, in 1966, and married her husband, Bobby, that summer. Several years later, they moved their family to Fort Worth and subsequently opened Perfection Auto Body servicing auto body needs of the public and specializing in building street rods.
Peggy was always a firecracker. She was so much fun, and was a very generous woman. She was an expert decorator and gardener, an animal lover, and a great big sister. She loved to go “junkin”, she even had a “Gone Junkin’” sign hanging in her home. She never met a stranger, so her career as an antique dealer was a perfect match. She named her antique business Petticoat Express. She had successful antique booths in Fort Worth and Decatur, and set up a booth for many years at Round Top Texas Antiques Week in the spring and fall.
Peggy always had a shovel in the bed of her pickup and a pair of work gloves, never know when you may find a treasure in the ground to take home. Peggy was one of a kind and sadly there will never be anyone like her.
Preceding her in death were her father and mother, and her husband of 54 years, Robert Daryl Boudreaux.
Peggy is survived by her children, daughter Ronda Boudreaux Tamplen, son Jimmy Boudreaux, and daughter Robin Boudreaux; her sisters Lillian Sue Clemons Jones and Patricia Ann Clemons Fletcher, and brother Allan Russell Clemons; and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
A private memorial service will be announced at a later date.
