SPRINGTOWN -- Pearl (Adams) Cox, 88, a retired aircraft production assembly worker and a day care worker, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 1 P.M. Monday at Aurora Baptist Church. Burial: Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation: 4-6 P.M. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cox was born in Chico, Texas, the daughter of William and Margaret (Murphy) Adams. She married William J. Cox on June 22, 1947 in Weatherford, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters: Lela B. McNeiley and Urvel Cook, and four brothers: Louie Cecil, Barney, Acie Dee, and Charles Adams.
Survivors: sister: Bettye Hale of Springtown; numerous nieces, nephews, cousions, and a host of friends.
