Paula Irene Polley

Mrs. Paula Polley of Slidell, Texas passed away on April 4, 2025. She is survived by her son Bill Polley, Jr. (Tracy), her son John Polley (Brandy), her daughter Lori Truhe, her daughter Katherine Garza, and her brother Stanley Higgs. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Billy Polley, Sr. her mother Gladys Cockrill Higgs, and her father Billy Jack Higgs. She has 10 grandchildren (Tanner, Jayton, Lainey, Rachael, Hayden, Ella, Addie, Richard, Cameron, and Shawn) and 4 great-grandchildren. Preparations are being handled by Hawkins Funeral Home of Decatur, Texas. There will only be a graveside service held on Friday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. at our Family Cemetery – Tyson Cemetery on Tyson Lane in Valley View, Texas 76272.
