Decatur ~ Paul Ed Anderson, 52, an employee for Imperial Group for 12 years, went to be with his Lord Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Denton, Texas with his family by his side.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Rev Jerry Miller will be officiating. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Paul Ed was born July 7, 1962 to Charley and Ima (Albritton) Anderson in Decatur, Texas. He married LaDawn Stevens on March 19, 1988 in Runaway Bay, Texas. He was a loving, loyal father and husband. He had a passion for sports, western movies and history, sporting clays, and cracking jokes with his dry sense of humor. He was a Wise County local and friendly with all. By being selfless and helping anyone in need, he was loved and will be missed deeply by all.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 27 years, LaDawn Anderson of Decatur; 2 daughters, Stephanie Anderson of Laramie, Wyoming, and Jessica Anderson of Leander, Texas; son, Bradley Anderson of Decatur, Texas; 2 brothers, Larry Moore and wife Lydia of Perrin, Texas, and Robert Anderson of Decatur, Texas; 3 sisters, Shella Ford and husband Tommy of Azle, Sherry Gentry and husband Gary of Decatur, and Lisa Jackson and husband Tony of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
