Patsy Joann Lightsey

Paradise ~ Patsy JoAnn Lightsey, 84, went to be with our Lord, January 27, 2023 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2PM Friday at First Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial at Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dr. Craig Erb and Hal Kincaid will officiate. Pallbearers are Josh Anderson, Lee Bradley, Mason Webber, Dalton Hladky, Micah Hladky, and Ben Hladky.

Patsy was born on August 18, 1938 to Delma Rodney and Bernice Chamber (Martin) Reeves in Talco, Texas. She was united in marriage to Bill Lightsey on August 15, 1959 in Littlefield, Texas. Patsy received her Bachelor’s Degree in accounting at West Texas State University. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Bridgeport and the Gideon’s Auxiliary. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Doyle Reeves and Detlef Cole.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Bill Lightsey of Paradise; 2 daughters, Brenda Hladky and husband Mark Paradise, and Jovanne Kiser and husband Cecil of Paradise; 2 granddaughters, Samantha Bradley and husband Lee, and Chelsea Webber and husband Mason; 4 grandsons, Joshua Anderson and wife Lauren, Dalton Hladky and wife Lauren, Micah Hladky and wife Shelby, and Benjamin Hladky and wife Morgan; 11 great-grandchildren, Lily, Forrest, George, Cody, Jesse, Emma, Sarah, Iris, Leighton, Weston, and Walker; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
