Patsy Lou (Milford) Cross

Newark ~ Patsy Lou Cross, 81, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Newark.

Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Newark with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12-1 p.m. before the service.

Bro. Alan Six will officiate. Pallbearers include Scott Davis, James Newman, Herald Lynch, Burt Lampkin, Billy Beasley, and Richard Bodham. Honorary pallbearers are John Beam, Jeff Fox, Matt Winer, Patrick Haley, Ken Bailey, E.J. Ellis, Michael Carrol, Seth Cross, Joey Cross, Jimmy Cross, and Glen Cross.

Patsy was born on May 4, 1934 to Eldridge and Bertie (Willis) Milford in Byars, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Cecil Cross on December 8, 1970 in Mena, Arkansas. Patsy was a homemaker and she was retired from being a floral designer and manager of a fabric store. She was a member at the First Baptist Church in Newark.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Rex, Darrell, and Don. She was the last living member of that immediate family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Cecil G. Cross of Newark; her daughter, Glenda Beam of Fort Worth; her son, Louis Hosek and wife Tracy of Keller; her stepchildren, Glenda Patterson and husband Mark of Hurst, Ronald Cross and wife Letta of Bedford, and Russell Cross of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
