Runaway Bay ~ Patsy R. Briscoe, 80, a real estate agent, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Decatur.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial at 2 p.m. Monday at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Patsy was born on December 9, 1932 to Benjamin and Carrie (Davis) Steed in Iowa Park, Texas. She was united in marriage to Rodney Briscoe on March 30, 1998 in Trophy Club. Patsy was a member of the Runaway Bay Womens Bridge Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, and one brother.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 15 years, Rodney Briscoe of Runaway Bay; her son, Bud Singleton and wife Debbie of Houston; her daughter, Debbie Singleton; her stepson, Shawn Briscoe of Dallas; her stepdaughter, Sharoyn Briscoe of Plano; 3 grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
