Boyd ~ Patricia “Plum” Ann Rasbury, 88, a retired Justice of the Peace, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in Decatur.
Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Sunday. November 10, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1:30-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Reverend Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers include Gary Rasbury, Kenny Rasbury, Jeffrey Rasbury, Larry Rasbury, Kevin Rasbury, and Matt Rasbury.
Patricia was born on January 16, 1931 to Knox and Hilda (Huddleston) Hutchison in Rhome, Texas. She was united in marriage to T.J. Rasbury on May 21, 1949 in Boyd. Patricia served Wise County for over ten years as Justice of the Peace over Precinct 3, and a secretary at Boyd High School for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Boyd, and The Order of the Eastern Star of Boyd Chapter 897.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, T.J. Rasbury; her great-grandson, Brenyn Aldridge; her sisters, Foye Clark, Gladys Anderson, Grace Sharp, Hilda Williams, Melba Anderson, and Mary Bell; her brothers, Billy Joe Hutchison, Jeff Hutchison, and Bobby Knox Hutchison.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 4 sons, Gary and Debbie Rasbury of North Richland Hills, Larry and Maggie Rasbury of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Kenny and Glenda Rasbury of Boyd, and Kevin and Cindy Rasbury of Boyd; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her daughter, Sallie Walker Reed of Hillsboro; extended family, and a host of friends.
