Patricia Alice Mcgilvray

Patricia Alice McGilvray, 84, peacefully entered the presence of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 11, 2024, in Bridgeport, Texas.  She was born on September 22, 1939, to Neil and Jonnie Mae Thomas in May, Texas.

Patricia married the love of her life, James LeRoy McGilvray, in Keller on June 7, 1957.  They enjoyed 65 beautiful years together.  She continued to oversee operations of McGilvray Farms after his passing in 2022 and enjoyed many rides around the farm to see their land and cattle’s continued legacy.

She enjoyed traveling many miles with her husband and chasing around grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She spent many hours in the kitchen fixing family meals which were completed with her famous Pecan Pies.  She faithfully attended The Hills Church in North Richland Hills and later Grace Fellowship in Paradise.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband James McGilvray, Sr.; her parents; her son James McGilvray, Jr; and her sister Fredricka White.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, daughter Annette Davidson and husband Tony; sons Jesse McGilvray and wife Karla and Clay McGilvray and wife Diane; nine precious grandchildren, James William McGilvray, Katheryne Hinze, Monty Hambrick, Brittany Byars, Cody Hambrick, Mallory Bartlett, Katie Sims, Max McGilvray, and Clayton McGilvray; and 15 great-grandchildren that she loved and adored dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Patricia at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2024 in the auditorium at Grace Fellowship, 2964 West Highway 114, Paradise, Texas 76073.  Family will receive friends from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the celebration in the atrium.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to honor Patricia’s legacy of faith by giving to Christ’s Haven For Children in Keller, Texas (4200 Keller Haslet Road, Keller, Texas 76244) where Jesus’ Story will continue to be shared for generations to come.
