Decatur: Opal Miller, 80, of Decatur died Thursday, March 12th at her home.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15th at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur. Rev. Bill Hughes will officiate. No set family visitation.
Opal was born April 19, 1927, to Charlie and Maud Beall. She married Jessie Coleman Miller, Jr. in Decatur and she worked as a real estate abstractor.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Raleigh Miller and wife, Linda of Decatur; grandsons, Michael Miller of Silver Springs, Maryland and Chris Miller of Dallas; great grandchildren, Carter and Anna Miller of Sulphur Springs, Maryland.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Miller, Jr. and son, Mike Miller.
