DENTON -- Oleta New, 90, a retired bookkeeper for Bridgeport Clinic, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Justin.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday. Rev. Jim Brown will officiate.
Oleta was born on January 22, 1917 in Alvord, Texas to John and Johnnie (Austin) Samples.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.V. New; and her daughter, Linda Ryan.
Oleta was a member of the First Assembly Of God Church in Bridgeport.
Survivors: daughters, Margie Jones and husband Virgil of Blue Mound, Trish New of Decatur, and Reba Brown and husband Jimmie of Denton; son, Tommy New and wife Lynn of Lewisville; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
