Arlington ~ Oleta Cleo Jennings, 86, a retired secretary went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Arlington.
Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Opal Cemetery in Wise County.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Opal was born on March 4, 1929 to Carl and Myrtle (Boren) Isabell in Cottondale, Texas. She was united in marriage to John B. Jennings on July 2, 1947 in Fort Worth. Opal was an executive secretary for the Tarrant County Tax Assessor and was a member of the Texas Poets Society and the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Catherine Beavers; and her brother, C.A. “Lucky” Isabell.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, John Jennings of Arlington; her son, Johnny Jennings and wife Marcia of Arlington; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Josie Jennings of Arlington; Christopher Beavers of Arlington and Amy Beavers of Longview; other family members and a host of friends.
