Bridgeport ~ Obereta June McCollum, 82, retired Wal-Mart manager, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Bridgeport.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Obereta was born on June 17, 1932 to Earl and Mattie (Hodges) Villers in Clovis, New Mexico. She served her country in the U.S. Army. Obereta was united in marriage to E.J. McCollum on January 1, 1973 in Ennis, Texas. She was a member of the Fundamental church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Jerry Lambeth and her brother, Gerald Villers.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Bishop and wife Melody of Denver, Colorado and Douglas Lambeth and wife Renee of Ennis; her daughters, Sharon Keahey of Bridgeport, Carrie Wilson and Bert Sowells of Red Oak, Texas, Terry Hernandez of Ennis; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of friends.
