Decatur ~ Nyoka Darlene Warner, 68, a homemaker, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 1 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Wizard Wells Cemetery.
Rev. Gary Sessions to officiate.
Nyoka was born May 1, 1942 to A.J. and Gladys (Ivy) Rogers in Wise County.
She was a member of Gospel Assembly in Fort Worth from 1973 to 1993. Nyoka volunteered for many services helping with children and the elderly. She also worked in the church kitchen when needed. Nyoka drove a school bus and worked as a seamstress. She loved to travel.
Nyoka was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Kenneth J. Rogers.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her father, A.J. (Slick) Rogers of Wizard Wells, Texas; other relatives and a host of friends.
