Boyd ~ Norman Keith Cox, 90, a retired heavy equipment operator, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery in Decatur. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Norman was born November 20, 1924 to Lester Austin and Vida Rosella (Glidden) Cox in Kellogg, Minnesota. He married Joyce Lorain Seals on November 1, 1977 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Joyce Cox of Boyd, Texas; daughters, Penny Cox of Olahga, Oklahoma, and Melody Branstorm and husband Jim of Arizona; son, David Cox and wife Keri of Arlington, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
