Bridgeport ~ Norma E. Price, 87, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, December 7, 2015 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Demmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Willie Vick, Jonathan Zapata, Jacob Curda, Danny Price, Kenny Jones, and Marvin Read.
Norma was born on March 2, 1928 to Henry and Annie (Epperhart) Palmer in Daisetta, Texas. She was united in marriage to Bufford “Bud” H. Price on October 21, 1950 in Sweeny, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 37 years, Bud Price; her brothers, Cecil and Oran Palmer; and her niece, Jo Davis.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her nephews, Charles Palmer of Marshall; James Palmer of Snyder; her nieces, Ruth Ward of Cleburne, Nita Zapata of Nacogdoches, Debbie Curda of Denton; other family members and a host of friends.
