Norma Cook Anderson

Bridgeport ~ Norma Cook Anderson, 78, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Decatur.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 12th, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial to follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Isaac Colgrove will officiate.

Norma was born on July 7, 1944 to Clarence D. and Eula Mae (Reeves) Cook in Jacksboro. She was a public-school teacher and librarian for Northwest ISD for 20 years. Norma was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, David Anderson and wife Susan of Grand Prairie and Daniel Anderson and wife Melissa of San Antonio; her daughter, Deborah Anderson and spouse Jesse of Frisco; her brother, Dan Cook of Decatur; her grandchildren, Christopher, Amelia, Rachel, and Grace, other relatives and a host of friends.
