Nora Faye "Buggy" (Young) Cain

Decatur ~ Nora Faye “Buggy” Cain, 80, went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 30, 2023

Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Nora was born December 2, 1942 to James Lawrence and Betty Irene (Cogburn) Young in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was united in marriage November 28, 1958 to Johnny Carol Cain in Madill, Oklahoma. Nora was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Young; a brother, James Young; sister, Minnie Caraway; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Caraway.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of over 64 years, Johnny Cain of Decatur; sons, Kent Cain and wife Kelley of Highland Village, and Chris Cain and wife Brooks of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Angie Cain of Springtown; 8 grandchildren, Nick Cain, Alex Cumberpatch and husband Liam, Drew Cain and wife Katie, Jason Porter and wife Sarah, Jessica Silvey and husband Jonathan, Katie Cain, Sydney Smith and husband Dawsyn, and Abbie Warner and husband Chad; great-grandchildren, Cooper Silvey, Oakley Silvey, and Jonathan Cain; sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Young; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
