Noel Reed Shirey

Decatur ~ Noel Reed Shirey, 76, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 21, 2019, in Decatur.

Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel Decatur.  Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Noel was born on December 31, 1942, to Thurman and Margie (Crews) Shirey in Mineola, Texas. He was united in marriage to Cornelia Ituarte in New Mexico. Noel was a retired pipeline inspector for the oilfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Cornelia Shirey of Decatur; his step daughter, Sonia Santellanes of Plano; his step son, Juan Carlos Santellanes of Decatur, Junior Santellanes of Florida; his grandson, Dylan Noel Santellanes of Decatur; and a host of friends.
