Neoma Ruth (Newton) Collins

Decatur ~ Neoma Ruth Collins, 86, a retired factory worker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 30th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow service in Lone Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Reverend David Isbell will officiate. Pallbearers include Dennis Brooks, David Newton and Charles Newton.
Neoma was born September 19, 1928 in Wise County to William Alfred and Sally Myrtle (Dickenson) Newton. She married Guy Leeross Collins October 7, 1988 in Fort Worth. Neoma was a member of Eagle Drive Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra Jean Fox and husband Henley of Decatur, Alice Sherrod of Deleon, Paulette Hart and husband Terry of Fort Worth and Gail Kapavik of Benbrook; son, Larry Morrow and wife Judy of Bridgeport; 6 grandchildren, Russell Fox, Tressa McCormick, Debra Warbrittion, Dixie Bryan, Kayla Nichols and Cody Morrow; 8 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Annie Mae Brooks, Lou Ellen Lum and Flora Jean Frazier; her brother Melton Newton; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Neoma is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; and a sister.
