Nancy Suzanne (Mara) Burk

Decatur ~ Nancy Suzanne Burk, 63, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 30th, 2023.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Nancy was born December 27, 1959 to Roy Richard & Nancy Sue (Taylor) Mara in Decatur, Texas. She was a retired Accounting and Payroll manager after many years with Texonic and Fema. Nancy was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will greatly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Nancy Mara; her sister, Annette Mara; her grandparents; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Caleb Burk; a brother, Ricky Mara & wife Carol of Jacksboro; aunt Pam Hawkins of Decatur; her nephews, Nate Mara & wife Amber of Decatur, Richard Mara & wife Teri of Decatur, and Todd Mara & wife Mandi of Paradise; great-aunt, Betty Bailes of Sanger; extended family members and a host of friends.
