Modena Naugle

Rhome ~ Modena Naugle, 97, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Rhome.

Graveside service is 2 PM Saturday at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Trinity Bounds will officiate.

Modena was born on March 2, 1925 to Raymond Scott and Myrtle (Stephens) Fairbetter in Decatur. She was united in marriage to Robert Glen Naugle on May 4, 1945. Modena was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Naugle; 2 brothers, Scotty and Bobby Fairbetter; and her sister, Alta Hunley.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are 2 daughters, Kay Wright and Ed of Dallas, and Joni Bounds and Barker of Rhome; 6 grandchildren, Nate and Ian Bounds, Leah and Matt Czechowicz, Trinity and Cindy Bounds; 4 great-grandchildren, Viktor and Marek Czechowicz, Ali and Lilly Bounds; 2 sisters, Marilyn Maier and Linda Tunnell; her sister-in-law, Wanda and husband Howard Young; several cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
