Decatur: Milt McConnell, 73, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Decatur.
Memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 21st at the Decatur Civic Center.
Milt was born March 30, 1940 to Cleo and Jenny (Wagner)McConnell. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Sanchez on May 27, 1988 in Tampa, Florida. Milt was a retired owner of McConnell & Associates.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Kimberly McConnell; 3 sons, Matt McDonnell of Euless, Bruce McConnell and wife Ursula of Houston, and Troy McConnell and partner Joshua of Fort Worth; daughter, Teina McConnell of Denver, Colorado; 2 step-daughters, Danielle Bauer of Molalla, Oregon and Lisa Wood and husband Hap of Houston; 4 grandchildren, Ryan McConnell and wife Daniela of Houston, Corey, Grady and Kelly McConnell of Fort Worth; and brother, Ron McConnell of Richardson, Texas; other family members and a host of friends.
Milt was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Michelle McConnell.
