Michael was born on March 24, 1954 to John Weldon and Joanne Louise (Crumm) Coleman, Sr. in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage to Alice Linda Martinez on April 1, 1974 in Ryan, Oklahoma and they enjoyed 32 wonderful years together. Michael was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.
