Michael Sanders

Michael Sanders, 79, went to be with his Lord Friday, December 20, 2024 in Denton, Texas.

Celebration of Life is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Riding For The Brand Cowboy Church 5926 FM 455 Sanger, TX.

Michael was born February 17, 1945 to Wayne Ernest and Byron Louise (Waites) Sanders in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was united in marriage December 25, 2001 to Nancy A. (Greggs) in Sanger, Texas. Michael was a retired real estate investor after many years with King Well Services, in the Oil Industry. He graduated from Midway High School and was a member of Countryside Fellowship Church. Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, step-father, cousin and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Byron Louise Sanders; sister, Arlene Sanders; and a cousin, Bob Sanders.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Nancy Annaye Sanders; his son, Scott Sanders; grandsons, Wayne Sanders, and Mathew Sanders; step-son, Shane E. Smith; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Hurley, Martha Louise, and Henry Sanders; his cousins, Ronny Sanders, Don Windell, and Randy Dansby; extended family and a host of friends.
