DECATUR -- Maxine L. Cunnius, 91, a homemaker, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Decatur.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, with Rev. Raymond Johns officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery and family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Ryan Cunnius, Ed Cunnius, Mike Rawle, Brandon Kelton, John Schnase, Brent Kelton
Honorary Pallbearers: Guy Horner Jr., David Maxey, Gary Willis, Calvin Buchanan, B.J. Yerby, Casey Fain, Jeremy Rawle, Tom Woodward.
Maxine was born October 11, 1915 in Wise County to Charles B. and Lizzie Boyd Longmire. She married George Lee Cunnius on May 22, 1933 in Marietta, Oklahome. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Chock Longmire.
Survivors include: Husband of 74 years, George Lee Cunnius of Decatur; 1 daughter, Beth Rawle and husband Russell of Decatur; 2 sons, Tommy Cunnius and wife Kathy of Decatur, and Jimmy Cunnius and wife Lynn of Decatur; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
