Newark ~ Maudie Mae Gilmore, 69, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Newark.
Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Pleasant Grove #2 Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Chaplain Phillip Weitner will officiate.
Maudie was born on January 20, 1945 to William and Maudie (Bailey) Tucker in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to Lelie Ray Gilmore. Maudie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lelie Ray Gilmore; her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sharon Robinson and husband Lowell of Boyd; her sons, Cody Dean Gilmore and wife Cleta of Denton and Leslie Ray Gilmore of Newark; her granddaughters, Tiffany Sloas and husband Jason of New Fairview and Lindsey Hope Robinson of Newark; her great grandson, Jason Sloas, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
