Aurora ~ Mary Lou Shaw, 84, an aircraft assembly worker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Denton.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Mary was born on May 29, 1930 to Robert and Edith (Stroud) Brown in Aurora. She was united in marriage to Steve Junior Shaw on April 24, 1948 in Fort Worth. Mary retired from General Dynamics as an aircraft assembly worker and after her retirement, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Aurora Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Steve Junior Shaw.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Bobby Shaw of Aurora; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
