Grand Prairie: Mary Alice Shaunfield, 79, formerly of Decatur, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 12, 2008 in Arlington, Texas.
Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Reverend Jeremy Rogers officiating.
Mary Alice was born on July 31, 1929 in Canyon, Texas to William Louis and Mary Margaret (Ogan) Browning. She married J. D. Shaunfield on September 16, 1947 in Reagan, Texas.
Mary Alice is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Lewis and her parents.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Bruce Shawnfield and wife, Rosemary of Bryan, Texas; two daughters Annette Saunder and husband, Ron of Bowie; Molly Fetliff of Grand Prairie; nine grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
