Mary Kathryn Davis

Decatur ~ Mary Kathryn Davis, 71, went to be with our Lord Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial in Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.

Rev. Doug Acklie will officiate. Pallbearers include Andrew Davis, Garrett Davis, Landon Davis, Brian Beadle, Jr., Payton Webber, and Gerald Wright. Honorary pallbearers include Curt Hensley and Chris Hensley.

Mary was born on March 19, 1948 to Clyde E. and Dessie Dois (Cook) Hensley in Shirley, Arkansas. She was a member of Flatwood Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse at WRHS for 29 years retiring in 2017. Her favorite pastime was taking her grandkids to Walmart and visiting with everybody there.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son-in-law, Dave Baugh.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Faron Davis and wife Edie of Decatur, and Brian Davis and wife Jennifer of Davis, Oklahoma; her daughters, Teresa Davis Baugh of Waxahachie, and Chrystal Beadle and husband Brian of Cleburne; her grandchildren, Andrew Davis, Garrett and wife Jessica Davis, Landon Davis, Eryn Baugh, Reygan Baugh, Brooklynn Davis, Katelynn Davis, Payton Webber, Riley Webber, Gabby Webber, Brian Beadle Jr., Destiny Fulfer, and Jennifer Broach; her great-grandchild, Jackson Mitchell Davis; her brothers, Bob Hensley and wife Ruby, Larry Hensley and wife Cheryl both of Decatur, and Steve Hensley and wife Beverly of Paradise; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
