COTTONDALE -- Mary Etta Finley, 90, a homemaker, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, in Arlington. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Cottondale. Burial: Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Christian-Hawkins Chapel. Mary was born in Paradise to W.O. and Litha Stinnett Stevens. She married Charlie Finley on Dec. 30, 1928, in Springtown; he passed away Nov. 1, 1967. She was preceded by her parents; husband; three sons, Charles, Carroll and Steven Finley; and one daughter, Joyce Finley. Survivors: Daughters, Aretha Keefer and husband, Clarence, Litha Moss and husband, Emory, Earlyn Hood and husband, Jack, Mary Barbara Thedford, Peggy Meadows and husband, Clifford, and Lottie Sue Coen and husband, Stephen.; sons, Frankie Bob Finley and wife, Faye, Benny Finley and wife, Ann, and David Finley and wife, Sharyn; 32 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Cleo Moss, Thelma Wood, Cletus Atkinson and Nora Ellen West; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Finley.
