BOYD -- Mary Jo Davis, 83, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, in Boyd.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 Monday at the funeral Home. Officiator: Rev. Craig Erb. Pallbearers: Mike Davis, John Neckar, Brady Davis, Bill Childress, Mike Walton, Tad Davis, Wayne Willingham. and Ricky Taliaferro.
Mary Jo Davis was born on April 15, 1924 in Commanche, Oklahoma to Ira and Nettie (Tilly) Riddles. She married Albert Price Davis on November 3, 1943 in Walters, Oklahoma. She was a cashier at Eckards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Price; her son, Charles dale davis; her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Left behind to cherish her memory is: Sons, Albert Wayne Davis and wife Denise , Richard Don Davis wife Joyce of Boyd, Tony Leo Davis and wife Carolyn of Briar; daughter, Sharon Jolene Davis and husband Willie Williams of Azle; brother, Paul Riddles of Tishimingo,Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Virginia Taliaferro of Tishimingo,OK, Wanda Sue Shirtz of Saginaw,Texas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
