Mary Carnes

Springtown ~ Mary Carnes, 65, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Fort Worth.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.

Mary was born on May 1, 1961, to Calvin and Alice (Melear) Creamer in Fort Worth. Mary’s compassion and dedication to nursing led her to pursue education at Odessa College, where she earned her nursing degree. Her career as a Home Health Nurse was marked by a deep commitment to the well-being of her patients, and the kindness she extended in her professional and personal life left an indelible impression on all who knew her. Mary was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Alice Creamer.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, David Lee Carnes; her siblings, Shelley Brown and her husband, Richard, and Tracy Creamer and his wife, Candy; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
