ALVORD -- Mary Ann "Pid" Anderson, 83, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at her home in Alvord, Texas.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery, Rev. Bill Cleveland to officiate. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Mrs. Anderson was born March 16, 1924 in Alvord, Texas to Grover and Clela Mae "Midge" Shaunty. She is a lifelong resident of Alvord where she was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis B. Anderson; parents, Grover and Clela Mae "Midge" Shaunty; a son, Craig Anderson; and grandson, Chris Branch.
Survivors: Daughter, Sandra Ann Thompson of Alvord; grandsons, Curt Anderson and wife, Christi, of Alvord and Chad Ward of Alvord; three great-grandchildren, Bradi, Rachael, and Craig Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
