Marvin Henry August Hagens

Alvord ~ Marvin Henry August Hagens, 89, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 4, 2021.

Marvin was born January 25, 1932 to Arthur and Pauline Hagens in Wilson, Texas. He was united in marriage in 1957 to Adelta Gold in El Paso, Texas. Marvin was a retired Texas State Highway Patrolman, in Law Enforcement for many years. He graduated High School and attended some college. He belonged to the family of Frisco Bible Church. Marvin proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Pauline Hagens; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Adelta Hagens, of 64 years; 2 daughters, Phyllis Hagens and Shelly Witzgall and husband Mike; his son, Greg Hagens; 2 granddaughters, Sarah Gosvenor and Jessica Hopson; 9 great-grandchildren; extended family members, loving church family and a host of friends.
