Fort Worth: Martha Ann Shaw Kirby, 64, formerly of Decatur, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 18, 2009 in Keller.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 21st at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doug McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Martha was born May 19, 1945 in Decatur to Owen and Lou Dickey Shaw. She was a graduate of Decatur High School and North Texas State University. Martha retired after 20 years as a teacher for Mansfield ISD. She was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Left behind cherish her memory are daughter, Amy Brooks and husband Taylor of Hurst; four grandchildren, Peyton, Madeline, Sarah Beth and Jonathan; and sister, Linda Miller of Decatur.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents, nephew, Todd James and brother-in-law, Raleigh Miller.
