Martha (Montalvo) Anderson

Martha Anderson, 67, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Memorial Service is 6:00 p.m. Monday at Slidell Baptist Church with burial at Slidell Cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.

Martha was born September 23, 1956 to Jose Luis Montalvo Valerio and Teresa Montalvo Cobos in Mexico City. She was a retired Social Worker who spent most of her life helping others. Martha was united in marriage June 28, 1982 to Rickard Philmore Anderson in Ardmore, Texas. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rickard Philmore Anderson; a daughter, Leeanna Anderson; her brothers, Luis Ramón Montalvo Luna, Luis Rubén Montalvo Luna, José Luis Montalvo García, Luis Ángel Montalvo García.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, George Anderson of Euless, and Kenneth Craig Anderson of Slidell; grandchildren, Austin Morgan Anderson, Kimberland Reese Anderson, and Rickard Anderson; her siblings, Ignacio Montalvo Cobos, José Luis Montalvo Luna, Rosa María Montalvo Luna, Luis Cristóbal Montalvo García, Irene Guadalupe Montalvo García, and Martha Montalvo García; special family member Ernie Gonzalez of El Paso; extended family members, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
