Mark "Quick Draw" Woods

Chico ~ Mark “Quick Draw” Woods, 62, a truck driver, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Gainesville.

Graveside service is11:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Mark was born on April 25, 1956 to James Franklin and Letta Louise (Greer) Woods in Fort Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Howard on May 2016 in Chico. Mark enjoyed racing, working on dirt bikes as well as four wheelers. Being an avid motorcycle enthusiast, trail riding and camping was enjoyed frequently. He loved spending time with his family, joking and playing around. Mark loved to listen to his music and dancing while he was working on his dirt bike. He was notorious for dancing when he thought no one was watching, but of course, there was always someone watching.

He was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Frances Ann Gault Woods; and his companion, Levenia Carr.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Trish Woods of Chico; his daughter, Katie Woods Martin of Alvord; his sons, James E Woods and wife Sarah of Chico and Dustin Woods of Poolville; his grandchildren, Blake Martin, Makayla Martin, Stacie, Becky and William; his brother, Aaron Wayne Harville of Chico; and his mother, Leta Louise Greer of Chico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
