Marion "Don" Davis

Bridgeport~ Marion Donald “Don” Davis, 85, went to be with our Lord Friday, June 26, 2020 in Bridgeport, Texas.

Dr. Craig Erb will officiate.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2020 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Don was born October 28, 1934 to Marion H. and Mary P. (Roper) Davis in Henrietta, Texas. He was united in marriage to Betty J. Lewallen on June 21, 1959 in Red Springs, Texas. He was a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Army. Don was a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Western Rock in Encino, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Mark A. Davis; his brother, Melvin L. Davis; and his sisters Pauline Livingston, Martha Barnes, and Mary Jo Gravley.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Betty Davis of Bridgeport; his son, Robby D. Davis of Keller; his granddaughter, Kelsey Davis; and his grandson, William Jacobs; his brother, Royce H. Davis of Seguin; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
