Decatur ~ Mario Mata Flores fue a estar con nuestro Señor el domingo 17 de julio de 2022.

El funeral es a las 10:30 a.m. del viernes 22 de julio de 2022 en la Capilla de la Funeraria Hawkins en Decatur con entierro en el Cementerio Oaklawn. La familia recibirá a sus amigos de 6 a 8 p.m. jueves en la funeraria.

El diácono Mauricio Hernández oficiará.

Mario nació el 29 de enero de 1985 de Martin y Julia (Flores) Mata en San Luis De La Paz, GTO, México. Se unió en matrimonio el 11 de septiembre de 2011 con Sylvia Turrubiartez en Decatur, Texas. Mario era propietario y operaba Luis Concrete, trabajando durante muchos años en la industria de la construcción. Era un amado esposo, hijo, hermano, tío, primo y amigo de muchos que serán extrañados entrañablemente.

Fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Martín Mata.

Quienes se quedan atrás para atesorar su memoria son su esposa, Sylvia Turrubiartez de Decatur; su madre, Julia Flores de GTO, México; 3 hermanos, Martín Mata Flores de GTO, México, Daniel Flores y su esposa Beatriz de GTO, México, y Marcos Jiménez de GTO, México; 5 hermanas, Carolina Mata y esposo Gerardo de Decatur, Cecilia Mata y esposo Jorge de Decatur, Susanna Mata y esposo William de Decatur, Julia Jimenez y esposo Jorge de GTO, México; y Jasmine Mata de GTO, México; numerosas tías, tíos, sobrinas, sobrinos, primos y una gran cantidad de amigos.

Decatur ~ Mario Mata Flores went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Deacon Mauricio Hernandez will officiate.

Mario was born January 29, 1985 to Martin and Julia (Flores) Mata in San Luis De La Paz, GTO, Mexico. He was united in marriage September 11, 2011 to Sylvia Turrubiartez in Decatur, Texas. Mario owned and operated Luis Concrete, working for many years in the construction industry. He was a beloved, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many who will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Mata.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Sylvia Turrubiartez of Decatur; his mother, Julia Flores of GTO, Mexico; 3 brothers, Martin Mata Flores of GTO, Mexico, Daniel Flores and wife Beatrice of GTO, Mexico, and Marcos Jimenez of GTO, Mexico; 5 sisters, Carolina Mata and husband Gerardo of Decatur, Cecilia Mata and husband Jorge of Decatur, Susanna Mata and husband William of Decatur, Julia Jimenez and husband Jorge of GTO, Mexico; and Jasmine Mata of GTO, Mexico; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
