Marietta was born on May 8, 1942 to Clarence and Gertrude (Meredith) Dailey in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was united in marriage to Donald Hatchell on June 17, 1989 in Teague, Texas. Marietta owned and operated a leather apparel business alongside her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 28 years, Donald Lee Hatchell of Rhome; her daughter, Lynn Hambrick of Benbrook; her sons, Steve McShan of Wichita Falls, Bubba Hester of Wichita Falls; her grandchildren, Stacy, Jack, and Casetin; her great grandchildren, Colby, and Rylan; her brother, Clarence Dailey of Henrietta, Texas; her sister, Nell Fonville of Wichita Falls; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
