Marie (Nigh) Rosson

Decatur ~ Marie Rosson, 71, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 21, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home chapel with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.

The Revs. Alan Bates will officiate. Pallbearers include Jordan Hodges, Chris Hall, Gary Bruner, Jr., Joshua Bruner, Jonathan Bruner, and Billy Hawkins. Honorary Pallbearers include, Rylen Hicks, Cutter Hodges, Casey Bruner, Braxton Bruner

Marie was born on September 1, 1948 to Cecil Howard, and Helen (Caraway) Nigh in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Troy Lee Rosson on November 25, 1966 in Alvord, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Glenna Walls; and her great-granddaughter, Adalynn Marie.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Troy L. Rosson of Decatur; her daughters, Gina Hodges and husband Danny of Alvord, and Dionne Bruner of Chico; her son, David Rosson of Dallas; her grandchildren, Jordan Hodges, Gary Bruner, Jr., Caitlyn Hall, Joshua and Jonathan Bruner; her great-grandchildren, Rylen Hicks, Brantley Hodges, Cutter Hodges, Henley Jones, Eloise Hall, Lainey Bruner, Casey Bruner, and Braxton Bruner; her sisters, Tammy McCrary and Sheila McCrary; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
