Maria Del Pilar (Alonso) Dorado

Decatur ~ Maria Del Pilar Dorado,54, went to be with our Lord Friday, August 27, 2021 in Ft.Worth, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Maria was born October 12, 1966 to Juan and Maria Manuela (Martinez) Alonso in Coahuila, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Roberto Dorado in Mexico. Maria was a certified nurse’s assistant working for Solaris Health Hospice for many years. She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria Manuela Alonso; a brother, Juan Manuel Alonso; and a granddaughter, Zaylah Cipriano.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Roberto Dorado of Decatur; her daughters, Juanita Isip and husband Fernando of Ft. Worth, and Ana Garcia and husband Ben Cipriano of Decatur; her son, Jorge Arredodo and wife Martha of Decatur; 5 grandchildren, Giovanni Oliva, Zaira Diaz, Jaylene Arredondo, Davian Arredondo, and Gulian Isip; 1 brother; 6 sisters; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
