Chico ~ Maria DeLeon, 73, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 26, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial at Pleasant Grove #3 in Alvord. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pastor Filemon Gallegos will officiate.
Maria was born August 13, 1943 to Juan and Guadalupe (Rivera) DeLeon in Las Bocas, Jalisco, Mexico.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Victor, Hermenejildo, Guadalupe, Jorge, Cruz, Rodofo, Luis, and Horacio DeLeon; her daughters, Amelia Baez, Gabriela Flores, Angelica Baez, and Adriana Coll; her grandsons, Uriel, Daniel, Hermenegildo, Edgar, Edvardo, Mauricio, Moses, Guillermo, Victor Jr., Cruz Jr., Daniel, Martin, Everardo, Anthony, Jose Jr., Abraham, Rodolfo Jr. Alan, Leonardo, Alejandro, and Emilio; her granddaughters, Lizbeth, Cynthia, Elizabeth, Maricruz, Gisselle, Deborah, Crystal, Jennifer, Valeria, Carla, Kimberly, and Amsy; her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Rebekah, Abigail, Monica, Haley, Damaso, Ezra, and Gemini; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
